In this timely message Ken referred to three Old Testament characters to show the effects of compromise to the
Kingdom of God.
First we saw how Saul’s compromise with the flesh cost him his reign, his son’s life, and finally his own life.
Lot’s compromise with the world cost this righteous man his whole family.
Jehoshaphat’s ungodly alliance with Ahab created peace where there should have been war.
Ken closed with this encouragement: “The best way to avoid compromise is to take up the word of God, (the spiritual
sword,) in our fight for the kingdom.”
