This morning’s message was preached by Duane Weaver. The title for his message was “Choose This Day.” You can’t
serve God and also man.
James 4:4 The call to choose comes to each one of us. The moment you choose the world, you are an enemy of God. If
you want to be a Christian, you need to be a Christian every day of the week; you can’t serve two masters.
Our identity as a Christian needs to be wrapped up in a brotherhood. Galatians 6 - The Bible teaches us group
commitment.
How does the choice affect our values? The call of the gospel is, “You need to make a choice.” Where do you want to lay
up treasures? You can have them in Heaven or in earth, but you can’t have both. How do I see a choice made out in selfexpression? We are called to a choice. Music is a form of self-expression; it is coming out from your heart. The challenge
for us today is to take God’s principle paths. The way of life is to make the right choice and take the consequences with
it
