We were encouraged to give flowers while there is life. Just as God created us with different gifts, flowers can also be
given in various ways, such as sisters helping each other, caring for our families, and being sensitive to the needs around
us. We all need each other. This is felt especially during a time of testing which God allows to draw us to Himself and to
each other.
John 19: 25-27 Jesus was concerned about the welfare of His Mother. He took action to see that her needs were met.
What can I do today and in the days to come to show love to my family? One great way is spelled TIME. The institution of
the home is by God the Creator. Do we as parents have such a love for God and His Word that our children desire to
investigate it also?
Isaiah 28: 9-10 Read God’s Word daily. Start the family alter while the children are young. When the church is cold, the
only way to save the church is to save the family. Our children become what we are.
1 Peter 3:1-7 In today’s world there is a turning away from God’s Word. Nothing can be more beautiful than a meek and
quiet spirit, and a life that is lived in reverence to God’s design. Leviticus 19:3 and various passages in Proverbs are
reminders from the Word of God to honor, respect, and obey the parents God has given us. Let us never be ashamed to
have godly principles, live them, teach them and never let up.
