Be thinking about the Thanksgiving Service This Evening

Friendly Reminder–Come Prepared–See Below

Wednesday Evening, 7:30 – 8:30 PM

  • Hymn Sing
  • School Singing/Slideshow
  • Reflections on your year

For the “Reflections” section, we invite you to bring an object, a picture, or a word that represents something about the past year in your life or your family’s life. Come prepared to talk about what it represents, and how you are grateful for the way God worked in that piece of your life.

Anything that God has blessed you with is fair game, from the most everyday, ordinary thing, to the lifechanging way God has worked in your life.  Open to ages 1-99. Parents—you could help your children plan something, then stand with them as they share.

For example:

  • You choose the word “neighbor” because this has been a year of getting to know one of your neighbors better. You tell a story about an interaction with them.
  • You bring an object—a mixing bowl. This represents the mixed-up year that it’s been for you and your family. Through it all, you see God teaching you ______________.
  • You bring a picture—of the buck you bagged. God has provided. ?

Thank you!
