May 6th, 2012
  1. May 13 Sunday School: John 15:1-11, Memory Verse 15:4
  2. The chorus program planned for Friday evening is uncertain because of a lockdown at the prison.
  3. Services are planned for next Sunday evening at the same prison. These services are also dependent on the lockdown being lifted.
  4. C2C (Monday Night Church) is on for tomorrow evening. We’re still looking for a brother to help with one of the groups.
  5. School program is this evening at 7.
  6. Brethren’s meeting now planned for May 23.
  7. Bennie and Anna Mary are at Valley View in Belleville for an ordination.
  8. Jail services cancelled for this afternoon.

Youth Group at Humpback

The sunrise view from the rocks was quite nice. We sang several songs from the top–worship at its best, and the UVA student group enjoyed it as well.

School Program

May 4th, 2012

Pilgrim Christan School’s annual program is planned for this coming Sunday evening, May 6, at 7PM, at the school building adjacent the church.

The school, 25 students in grades one through eleven, will be presenting the stories of St. Patrick, Dirk Willems, and Mother Teresa, along with acapella song selections.

The public is invited. A finger-food snack will be served after the program.

  1. The Pilgrim Chorus will share their spring program this evening at 7:00.
  2. Ken’s family is moving and needs furniture. A list is on the bulletin board.
  3. The youth will be hiking Saturday morning.
  4. The sister’s quilting will be held Tuesday.
  5. Prayer meeting is planned for Wednesday.
  6. Brother’s meeting is tentatively planned for May 9.
  7. All Nations Bible Translation plans to give a presentation on Thursday evening, May 17.
